There have been numerous advancements in this field recently and your consultant will be able to discuss your options with you. These may include:
Reconstruction with implants
This type of breast reconstruction uses breast implants to reshape your breasts. This reconstruction can be performed at the time of the mastectomy or as a delayed procedure.
Reconstruction with tissue flaps
This type of breast reconstruction involves taking a section of tissue from one area of your body (e.g. your back or abdomen) and relocating it to your chest to create a new breast mound.
Breast reconstruction with flap surgery is a complex procedure performed by a surgeon.
In some cases, you’ll need a second operation to achieve a correctly positioned more natural-appearing breast or to have nipple reconstruction.

We offer Fixed Price Packages
Where possible, we’ll provide a fixed-price package for your hospital care. This covers your hospital stay, nursing, and use of our facilities, giving you a clear guide to what those costs will be.

- Take-home medication (up to 5 days)
- Post-op follow-up appointments
- Standard equipment or prosthesis (if needed)
- Unplanned extended stay or ITU (if clinically required)
