At The London Clinic, we are dedicated to delivering truly personalised care, and our team of Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNSs) exemplifies this commitment. Working closely with your chosen consultant, a dedicated CNS will be by your side, offering expert guidance and support at every stage of your journey—from diagnosis through treatment and into recovery.

As a vital part of your multidisciplinary care team, your CNS provides tailored advice from the very beginning. They not only support you but also assist your loved ones by offering clear information and connections to essential hospital services and specialists to ensure seamless care throughout your patient pathway.

With a team of approximately 50 highly skilled CNSs, The London Clinic offers expertise across a range of specialties. Some focus on cancer care, providing compassionate, one-on-one support during extended treatment journeys, while others specialise in areas such as surgical recovery, wound care, pain management, stoma care, and infection prevention & control.

This is why we are proud to offer a dedicated therapies team.

Our International team is on hand for all of your queries, by telephone, email and in person. At The London Clinic you will have your own personal coordinator to assist you throughout your stay with us.

They can help you to find the right consultant, book appointments and provide advice during your time in London.

We understand how daunting it might be to receive treatment in a new country but with our care team on hand, you can feel right at home.

As well as our experienced and dedicated care teams, we are committed to providing you with an excellent patient experience.

Our service team has one common goal – to make you feel special.

The service team includes: chefs, food service, front of house, housekeeping and interpreters. We provide extra touches, such as personalised food menus, to make your stay as comfortable and as much like home as possible.

Inspired by the NHS’s Martha’s Rule—a national patient safety scheme empowering patients, families, and carers to request an urgent medical review if they believe a condition is deteriorating—we’ve introduced our own Call for Concern initiative at The London Clinic.

For current inpatients, Call for Concern ensures 24-hour access to our Critical Care Outreach Team. If you or someone close to you feels the patient’s condition is worsening, our team is ready to listen, offer guidance, review the case in person, and take action if needed.
