Dr Ali Mohammed Consultant Profile

Dr. Mohammed graduated from Baghdad Medical School in 1996. He trained and worked in the UK since year 1999. He undertook postgraduate training in Respiratory and General (Internal) Medicine in Edinburgh at some of the UK well respected respiratory centres. He finished his training in Edinburgh in 2009 and moved to London in 2010.

He is a full time consultant physician in respiratory and general (internal) medicine working within Barts Health NHS Trust since 2010.

Dr. Mohammed has broad experience in managing wide spectrum of respiratory diseases including the complex ones. He is also a leader in lung cancer within Barts Health NHS Trust, London.

He is the lead clinician for the lung cancer and pleural disease service, along with, bronchoscopy and EBUS services at Whipps Cross University Hospital. Furthermore, he is a very experienced thoracic and pleural USS and EBUS operator and trainer.
