Mr Tom Setchell Consultant Profile
Mr Setchell is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with a special interest in Minimal Access Surgery (Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic Surgery) and Benign Complex Gynaecology.
His special interests include the management of fibroids and endometriosis, seeing patients with menstrual problems, pelvic pain, ovarian cysts and fertility problems amongst other general gynaecological problems. Much of his surgical expertise is in performing key-hole surgery.
He also cares for women throughout pregnancy, in labour and during the postnatal period, with an emphasis on patient choice and maternal and fetal wellbeing.
His NHS Consultant post is at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London, part of Imperial College Healthcare, where aside from his clinical work, he maintains a special interest in surgical simulation training.
