Mr Duguid is a Consultant Ophthalmologist specialising in Vitreo-retinal Surgery at the Western Eye Hospital, London. He specialises in advanced cataract surgery with premium implant lenses; vitrectomy for macular holes, epiretinal membranes, advances diabetic retinopathy and retinal detachments; and has expertise in ophthalmology with respect to aviation.

Mr Duguid graduated in Medicine from Aberdeen University and trained in Ophthalmology in Melbourne, London and Paris. He was Registrar, Senior, Registrar and Vitreo-retinal Fellow at Moorfields Eye Hospital, and was fellow at Hopital Lariboisiere in Paris. He is Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Western Eye Hospital, London and conducts private clinics at The London Clinic Eye Centre and Cromwell Hospitals.
He was made Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society for his work in Aviation Medicine, and is President Elect of the Ophthalmology Section at the Royal Society of Medicine.
