Dr Stephanie Barrett is a skilled and highly trained consultant rheumatologist and general physician.She is a consultant rheumatologist with over 20 years of consultant grade experience.In addition, she has a special interest in new osteoporosis treatments particularly, with injections six monthly or yearly, as appropriate. She carried out extensive research at The Royal Free Hospital regarding scleroderma and the gastrointestinal tract. Other research projects included osteoporosis, vitamin D deficiency, gout and identification of early rheumatoid arthritis.Previous appointment as a consultant physician and rheumatologist at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London and previously Honorary Senior Lecturer, Imperial College School of Medicine.
