Dr Leena Sinha Consultant Profile
Dr Sinha has trained in gastroenterology and general internal medicine. She undertook her clinical training in the North West Deanery. During this training, she developed experience in the management of general and complex diseases in gastroenterology.
Dr Sinhas’ current post includes the management of inpatients and outpatients with acute, chronic and complex gastroenterology disorders. She performs Capsule Endoscopy, Gastroscopy, Flexible sigmoidoscopy and Colonoscopy. Dr Sinha held the posts of Clinical Leads in Gastroenterology, Endoscopy and Capsule Endoscopy in her NHS tenure.
She is also the Chair of the British Society of Gastroenterology Small Bowel Section.
Dr Sinha led the expansion of the capsule endoscopy service at BHRUT and Nuffield Health, Brentwood and has introduced colon capsule endoscopy in addition to small bowel capsule endoscopy at Barking, Havering & Redbridge NHS Trust.
