Dr Amy Eccles Consultant Profile
Dr Amy Eccles is a radionuclide radiologist specialising in oncological radionuclide therapy and imaging. Her therapy interests include:
- treatment of prostate cancers using Lutetium 177 PSMA and Radium 223 dichloride
- Lutetium 177 DOTATATE treatment of neuroendocrine tumours
- SIRT therapy for radioembolisation of liver tumours
- microparticle therapy for pancreatic tumours
- radio iodine for thyroid conditions.
Amy studied medicine at University of Cambridge gaining distinctions in both Medicine and Surgery. She undertook her radiology training in London completing her radionuclide subspecialty training at Imperial College. She qualified as a Consultant in 2014 and now works at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust supporting the delivery of imaging and Nuclear Medicine therapies. She continues to play an active role in research and developing radionuclide therapy services to expand treatment options for patients.
